Pinion and rack type tuning inertial damper
The invention relates to the technical field of building damping, and discloses a gear and rack type tuning inertial damper. The device comprises a sleeve, a closed damping cavity is formed in the sleeve and filled with viscous damping liquid, a gear and rack transmission structure is installed in the damping cavity, an inertia element is fixed to the gear and rack transmission structure, and the gear and rack transmission structure is connected with a main body structure and a spring element outside the damping cavity. The gear and rack transmission structure can convert axial movement into circumferential movement and drive the inertia element to rotate at the same time, and horizontal force transmission can be achieved between the gear and rack transmission structure and the spring element. The axial speed of the two ends of the damper is converted into the angular speed of movement of the mass block through the gear and the rack, and the convex plates on the side faces of the mass block are used for stirring viscous damping liquid in the rotating process to dissipate energy. Compared with a ball screw type tuning inertial damper, the damper is simple in structure, easy to machine and excellent in vibration reduction capacity.
