The invention discloses a springback value regulator for sprayed concrete and application of the springback value regulator, and belongs to the field of building material concrete admixtures. The springback amount regulator is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 0.5 to 1.5 parts of composite modified polyvinyl alcohol, 200 to 545 parts of superfine mineral powder, 5 to 20 parts of silicate, 420 to 795 parts of bentonite, 0 to 15 parts of calcium salt and 0 to 15 parts of thickening time control agent, the composite modified polyvinyl alcohol is obtained by copolymerizing vinyl acetate and unsaturated silane and then carrying out graft copolymerization with nano SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber). According to the composite modified polyvinyl alcohol disclosed by the invention, the water retention effect is exerted, meanwhile, the intermolecular acting force can be increased, and the binding power between cement paste and gravel particles and the binding power between the cement paste and a sprayed wall body are enhanced; meanwhile, the mechanical property of the slurry can also be improved; and therefore, the springback rate of sprayed concrete is reduced. The springback value regulator can reduce the springback rate of sprayed concrete, and the springback rate is reduced to 12% or below; meanwhile, the early-stage and later-stage strength of the sprayed concrete can be improved.
