The invention provides an electric sunroof system which comprises a sliding rail and a movable sash installed on the sliding rail in a sliding mode, multiple waterproof structures are arranged at the closing position of the movable sash, and a transmission assembly and a counterweight assembly are arranged on the sliding rail. The transmission assembly comprises a chain sleeve, a reversing gear rotationally installed in the chain sleeve, a reversing gear coaxially rotating and fixedly connected to the power output end of the driving motor, a closed transmission chain meshed with the two reversing gears and embedded into the chain sleeve, and a transmission plate fixedly connected with the transmission chain. The guide wheel is used for bearing and guiding the transmission plate, the counterweight assembly is connected to the transmission plate and counteracts the weight of the movable sash, chain transmission is matched with a chain sleeve made of nylon, the purposes of silence, stability and reduction of damage probability are achieved, meanwhile, the transmission plate, the guide wheel and the counterweight assembly are combined, and the glass window can adapt to large-area glass with ultra-large weight; the skylight has the advantages of being mute, capable of integrating manual operation and automatic operation, suitable for large-weight glass and good in waterproofness.
