The invention discloses a preparation process of a novel ceramic material, which comprises the following steps: step 1, preparation of small materials: S11, weighing all components according to the proportion of the small materials, putting the weighed components into a ball mill for ball milling, and uniformly mixing; s12, filling the small materials which are uniformly mixed by ball milling into a crucible; s13, the molten small materials are subjected to water quenching and cooling, then dried and subjected to ball milling for standby application; step 2, preparing a ceramic material: S21, weighing alumina powder and the small material prepared in the step 1 according to a preset proportion, and putting the weighed alumina powder and the weighed small material into a ball mill for ball milling until the materials are uniformly mixed; s22, loading the alumina powder and the small materials which are uniformly mixed by ball milling into a stirring barrel; and S23, fully and uniformly stirring to prepare the wax cake for later use. After the small materials are pre-melted, the temperature of a glass phase generated in the high-temperature sintering process is greatly reduced, and sintering is effectively promoted.
