The invention discloses a rainfall simulation system for an outdoor large side slope model experiment. The rainfall simulation system comprises a supporting frame, a spraying system, a water supply system, a center console, a power supply system and an experiment side slope set. The experimental slope group comprises a plurality of experimental slopes which are arranged side by side, and the support frame is a movable bracket, so that the experimental slopes under multiple factors, multiple processes and multiple states can be subjected to contrast experiments in sequence; the spraying system is arranged on the supporting frame, is used for carrying out artificial rainfall on an experimental slope, and comprises a first spraying unit mounted on the top of the supporting frame and a second spraying unit arranged on the top of the supporting frame through a lifting mechanism; the vertical height of the second spraying unit can be adjusted according to the gradient of the experimental slope through the lifting mechanism, so that the consistency of rainfall kinetic energy at different positions of the slope surface of the experimental slope is ensured, and natural rainfall is more effectively simulated.
