The safety warning method is characterized by comprising the following steps: S1, designing a safety warning device; s2, a ground pile of the safety warning device and a protection rod are buried in the periphery of the area according to the shape of the area needing to be protected; s3, a warning connecting piece with the proper length is selected according to the distance between the buried ground piles, and the warning connecting piece is installed between every two adjacent ground piles; s4, fixing a corresponding warning slogan on the warning plate of the warning connecting piece; s5, when the warning plate is collided, the protective rod is unlocked by pressing the warning connecting piece, so that the protective rod can rotate, and the anti-rotation inserting rod is pulled down by a certain distance; s6, when collision is large and acts on the protection rod to enable the protection rod to topple over, the anti-rotation insertion rod is completely pulled down, and the protection steel rope is tightened while the protection rod rotates; and S7, the protection rod interlocks the dumping cover to be above the area needing to be protected.
