The invention discloses a protection device for an outdoor screen. The protection device comprises a protection plate, a first driving mechanism and a second driving mechanism, the protection plate comprises a plurality of branch plates which are sequentially and rotationally matched, and one end of the protection plate is a mounting end; the first driving mechanism is used for driving the sub-plates at the mounting end to rotate, and the second driving mechanism is used for enabling every two adjacent sub-plates to rotate mutually; the protection plate is provided with an unfolding working position and a folding working position; when the protective plate is in the unfolding working position, the split plate at the mounting end is driven by the first driving mechanism to rotate towards one side close to the outdoor screen, the two adjacent split plates are driven by the second driving mechanism to rotate and unfold, and the protective plate shields the outdoor screen; and when in the folding working position, the protection plate does not shield the outdoor screen any more. The protection device of the outdoor screen can be unfolded in severe weather or when the outdoor screen does not work, the outdoor screen is shielded through the protection plate, the outdoor screen is effectively protected, and the service life of the outdoor screen is prolonged.
