Ceramic pellet with photocatalytic coating and preparation method thereof
A plurality of photocatalytically coated ceramic pellets includes a base ceramic pellet each having an outer surface, and a photocatalytic coating disposed on the outer surface. The photocatalytic coating comprises an inorganic binder and a plurality of photocatalytic particles selected from the group consisting of TiO2, ZnO, Tn (OH) 4, doped derivatives thereof, and compositions thereof. The surface area per particle weight of the photocatalytic particles is no more than 30 m2/g (m2/g). The coated ceramic pellets have a total solar reflectance of at least 0.7.
