The invention relates to a building, in particular a wind power tower (1), which is pre-tensioned by means of at least one tensioning element (3), comprising a foundation (2), a tower body section (4) consisting of concrete, in particular of a plurality of precast concrete elements (5) arranged one above the other, and a roof (6), said tensioning element (3) being provided at least at one end thereof with a tensioning element anchoring structure (7, 7a, 7b). The tensioning element anchoring structure (7, 7a, 7b) has a receptacle (8) into which the first end (10a) of the anchoring rod (9) is fastened, in particular screwed. The second end (10b) of the anchoring rod (9) is anchored on the foundation (2) or the top (6). In a corresponding method for producing a building, a first end (10a) of the anchoring rod (9) is fastened, in particular screwed, into a receptacle (8) of the tensioning anchoring structure (7, 7a, 7b), and a second end (10b) of the anchoring rod (9) is anchored on the foundation (2) or on the roof (6).
