The invention belongs to the technical field of refractory materials, and particularly relates to a high-performance refractory castable which is prepared from the following raw materials: high-alumina bauxite, high-alumina cement, silica fume, alumina powder, bauxite fine powder, a water reducing agent, an additive and nano cellulose, the high-alumina cement, the silica fume, the alumina powder, the bauxite fine powder, the water reducing agent, the additive and the nanocellulose are powder materials, and the refractory castable has the beneficial effects that the water consumption required by construction is relatively low and is generally 6-7% of the weight of the refractory castable, so that the refractory castable has high density and low porosity; meanwhile, the material has the characteristic of volume stability at high temperature, and the volume is reduced after drying and calcining; the refractory castable not only has higher normal-temperature curing strength, but also has the strength which is not reduced after medium-temperature and high-temperature treatment, and the strength value is 5 times that of a traditional refractory castable; the use amount of cement is reduced, so that the number of low melting phases in the low-cement castable is reduced, and the high-temperature function is obviously improved.
