The shrinkage-reducing type polycarboxylate superplasticizer comprises a polymerization monomer with a shrinkage reducing function, unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester, a sulfonic monomer, a polyether macromonomer, dispersing agent water, an initiator, a molecular weight regulator and distilled water, after the raw materials completely react under certain conditions, the raw materials are cooled to 20-30 DEG C, then alkali liquor is added to adjust the pH value, and the polycarboxylate superplasticizer with the shrinkage reducing function is obtained. According to the polycarboxylate superplasticizer with the shrinkage reducing function, the shrinkage reducing groups are grafted on molecular structure chains of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer, so that the polycarboxylate superplasticizer has a good shrinkage reducing effect while having water reducing, strength maintaining and slump retaining functions, shrinkage can be compensated to a certain extent, the crack generation time of concrete is shortened, the crack development width of the concrete is widened, and the concrete quality is improved. A new way is introduced for inhibiting self-shrinkage and dry shrinkage cracking of the concrete.
