The invention discloses multifunctional bridge detection equipment and a use method thereof. The bridge detection equipment comprises a movable clamping vehicle capable of moving along a bridge floor; the movable clamping vehicle is detachably connected with a connecting movable frame in a clamping manner; and a detection assembly for detecting the bridge is detachably inserted into the connection moving frame. By using the detection equipment, bridge detection equipment is miniaturized, manual assembly and assembly use can be completed, large-scale equipment is avoided, energy consumption and labor are saved, and bridge detection can be operated by only one person. The detection personnel only need to control the detection equipment on the bridge floor for detection, and the vehicle body can be pushed to advance for detection only by manpower, so that the suspended detection operation of the detection personnel is avoided, and the safety of the detection operation is improved.
