The invention discloses a sound insulation door based on a corrugated structure core layer and a manufacturing method thereof.The sound insulation door comprises a surface board, a wooden door frame and the sound insulation core layer, the sound insulation core layer is formed by bonding a sound insulation board, an upper corrugated board and a lower corrugated board, each corrugated board is composed of corrugated core strips, and each corrugated core strip at least comprises a plane original base band and a corrugated original base band; and the convex edges of the plane original base band and the corrugated original base band are glued to form a hollow corrugated cell element structure.
