The invention relates to a vehicle charging port door assembly comprising:-a charging port cover (14),-a carriage (16) configured to be fixable on the vehicle,-a motorized actuation mechanism (18) configured to move the charging port cover (14) between a closed position and an open position,-an actuator (24) fixed on the carriage (16) and comprising a rotatable output shaft with an eccentric crank pin, -at least one parallelogram lever having a first lever (31) and a second lever (32) hinged at one end to the charging port cover (14) and at the other end to the bracket (16) and configured to be able to drive the charging port cover between an open position and a closed position, and-a drive rod configured to drive the charging port cover between an open position and a closed position, and a parallelogram lever connecting the crank pin to the driving projection of the first lever (31) such that the eccentric movement of the crank pin drives the charging port cover plate, or vice versa, between the closed position and the open position via the parallelogram lever.
