One aspect of the invention relates to a flushing tank (1) having a basin (2), which has a base wall (3) and side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) adjacent thereto, and which has a receiving space (8) delimited by the walls (4 to 7), the flushing tank (1) having a separate insertion plate (10) relative to the basin (2), which insertion plate is inserted into the receiving space (8), the flushing tank (1) having a lifting device (11), by means of which lifting device the flushing tank (1) is inserted into the receiving space (8). The insertion plate (10) can be moved relative to the basin (2), the lifting device (11) has at least one lifting unit (28), and the flushing tank (1) has a separate and elastic sealing sleeve (47) relative to the lifting unit (28), which sealing sleeve surrounds the lifting unit (28).
