In order to solve the technical problem that in the prior art, the anti-seepage effect of a reinforced concrete stoplog gate is poor, the embodiment of the invention provides a reinforced concrete stoplog gate and a construction method, the reinforced concrete stoplog gate comprises a soil retaining stoplog layer used for being arranged in a lock chamber, and one side of the soil retaining stoplog layer is close to the coming direction of water flow; the blocking stoplog layer is used for being arranged in the lock chamber, and one side of the blocking stoplog layer is close to the other side of the soil retaining stoplog layer; the anti-seepage interlayer is arranged between the soil retaining stoplog layer and the blocking stoplog layer; the ballasting layer is used for being arranged on the same side of the soil retaining stoplog layer, the blocking stoplog layer and the anti-seepage interlayer and connected with the same side of the soil retaining stoplog layer, the blocking stoplog layer and the anti-seepage interlayer. The thickness of the blocking stoplog layer is larger than that of the soil retaining stoplog layer. According to the embodiment of the invention, all the advantages of a common single-layer reinforced concrete stoplog gate are reserved, and meanwhile, the overall anti-seepage capacity of the reinforced concrete stoplog gate is greatly improved.
