The invention discloses a spinel ball cover isostatic pressing forming method which comprises the following specific steps: ball-milling and mixing spinel powder and a sintering aid, sequentially drying, sieving with a screen and calcining to obtain prefabricated powder, polishing and wiping a mold base, spraying a layer of lubricant on the surface of the mold base, sleeving with a rubber sleeve, and carrying out hot pressing to obtain the spinel ball cover. Pouring the powder into a mold from a feeding hole, wrapping the whole mold with dust-free paper, sealing a bag in vacuum, carrying out cold isostatic pressing by adopting a two-step pressurizing method to obtain a required spinel ball cover biscuit, and then carrying out pressureless sintering and hot isostatic pressing treatment on the spinel ball cover biscuit to finally obtain the spinel ball cover. According to the method, the problem of biscuit cracking caused by oil seepage and oil leakage in the cold isostatic pressing process of the spinel ball cover can be effectively solved, then the integrity of the ball cover biscuit is guaranteed, and industrial batch production is facilitated.
