The prestressed multidirectional displacement bridge expansion device comprises a fixed comb plate, a movable comb plate, an anchoring plate, a fixed plate and a damping connecting piece, the fixed plate is fixedly connected to the top of the anchoring plate and located at the top of the side wall of a beam end expansion joint, and the rear lower portion of the movable comb plate is installed on an installation notch in the top of the fixed plate through the damping connecting piece; gaps are reserved between the movable comb plate and the bottom wall and the side wall of the installation notch. The installation method of the prestressed multi-directional displacement bridge expansion device comprises the following steps: S1, welding the expansion device with an embedded anchoring rib in a reserved groove; s2, a concrete layer in the reserved groove is poured; s3, the temporary transition plate is replaced, and then an asphalt layer is paved; and S4, replacing the transition plate with a fixed comb plate and a movable comb plate, and fastening. According to the prestressed multidirectional displacement bridge expansion device and the mounting method thereof, the multidirectional displacement requirement of the bridge under the complex working condition can be well met, the mounting process is simplified, and the construction efficiency is improved.
