The invention relates to the technical field of truss installation, in particular to a large-span steel pipe truss installation system which comprises a sliding rail, and a rail supporting beam is arranged below the sliding rail; comprising a hydraulic crawler for driving a truss to slide, and an oil cylinder on the hydraulic crawler is connected with a hydraulic pump source system; comprising a computer synchronous control system for controlling the hydraulic crawler to work, and the computer synchronous control system is electrically connected with the hydraulic crawler and a hydraulic pump source system. According to the large-span steel pipe truss installation system, a basement structure does not need to be reinforced, the influence of other structures in a span is avoided, the structure is installed at the position of a design drawing in a sliding mode, and the installation problem of the large-span truss structure can be well solved; the construction method is suitable for a large-span steel structure which has a basement or other structures in a construction site, so that hoisting machinery cannot enter a construction area or other construction methods are poor in construction economy and have great influence on the construction period.
