The invention relates to the technical field of lawn base cloth, in particular to a drainage type lawn base cloth single body which comprises base cloth supporting assemblies, lawn base cloth bodies and insertion type drainage assemblies, the base cloth supporting assemblies are horizontally laid on the ground, every two adjacent base cloth supporting assemblies are connected in a clamped mode, the lawn base cloth bodies are connected to the tops of the base cloth supporting assemblies, and the insertion type drainage assemblies are arranged on the base cloth supporting assemblies. The insertion type drainage assemblies are symmetrically connected and fixed to the bottom of the base cloth supporting plate, communicate with the interior of the base cloth supporting plate and are used for draining rainwater leaking into the base cloth supporting plate into deep soil; rainwater on the lawn base cloth body can be collected in the water collecting cavity and permeates into deep soil along the insertion type drainage assembly, the rainwater is prevented from directly leaking to surface soil, the dryness of the surface soil is guaranteed, and backflow of the rainwater in the soil to the upper portion of the lawn base cloth body when the lawn base cloth is pressed is effectively reduced; and therefore, the drainage performance of the fabric is greatly improved.
