The invention discloses a laying structure of a rain and sewage diversion covering material in a fly ash landfill reservoir area. The fly ash landfill reservoir area comprises a reservoir area side slope and a reservoir area bottom. Fly ash is stacked at the preset position of the bottom of the reservoir area, and a water collecting and draining channel is formed between the fly ash and the adjacent reservoir area slope. Bottom covering materials are laid at the rest positions of the reservoir area side slope and the reservoir area bottom; a partition material is arranged around the fly ash and is connected with the bottom covering material; the top of the fly ash is covered with a daily covering material, and the daily covering material is connected with the partition material or the bottom covering material. The invention further discloses a laying method of the rain and sewage diversion covering material for the fly ash landfill reservoir area. According to the invention, external rainwater can be efficiently isolated from entering, zero generation of a leaching solution is ensured, generation of pollutants is controlled from the source, and the post-treatment cost is saved.
