The invention discloses a floor slab system for a fabricated steel structure building. The floor slab system comprises a foundation floor slab and an overhead ground system on the foundation floor slab. The overhead ground system comprises: a ground panel assembly for forming a floor; the supporting pieces are distributed on the upper portion of the foundation floor slab and used for supporting the ground plate combination to form an overhead space. The supporting heights of all the supporting pieces used for supporting the ground plate combination are adjustable. The supporting heights, used for supporting the floor plate combination, of all the supporting pieces are adjustable, on the premise that the level of the floor plate combination is adjusted, the effect that all the supporting pieces are evenly stressed is achieved, and the technical problem that in the prior art, only horizontal adjustment can be guaranteed, but stress cannot be evenly distributed as much as possible is solved; and finally, the service life of the overhead floor system is ensured.
