The invention discloses a reinforced concrete double-limb bent frame column for a heavy workshop and a construction method thereof. The bent frame column comprises a double-limb column, a shoulder beam, a flat web member and an upper column, and the double-limb column is formed by vertically arranging two column bodies in parallel so as to save the use space of a plant; the plurality of flat web members are arranged between the two column bodies in parallel, so that the horizontal rigidity of the framed bent column is provided; the cross section height of the shoulder beam is greater than 2m, and the shoulder beam is arranged at the top of the batten column, is used as a crane beam support and is used for transmitting a large-tonnage crane load; the upper columns are arranged upwards from the top faces of the shoulder beams, and the upper space of a plant is increased. The invention further provides a construction method of the double-limb bent frame column. The construction method comprises the following steps: constructing the scaffold system containing the pedestrian path; a beam height large formwork; a large-volume column template; and concrete is poured in a segmented and layered mode. According to the completed construction result, the method has good quality and safety guarantee for the reinforced concrete bent frame column of the single-layer ultrahigh heavy plant and the bent frame column of the same type of the reinforced concrete bent frame column.
