The invention particularly relates to a construction method of a power generation building material shed, which comprises the following steps of: constructing a steel structure; the laying process flow of the power generation building materials comprises the steps of laying the first column of power generation building materials, fixing the first power generation building materials, installing the next column of power generation building materials, checking whether lap joint of the power generation building materials is correctly buckled or not, and laying subsequent roof power generation building materials according to the procedures; fixing the power generation building material; and mounting a waterproof cover plate. The laying direction of the power generation building materials is as follows: the power generation building materials are transversely lapped along the annual maximum frequency wind direction according to local climate conditions, are laid from the end farthest from the wind, are firstly spliced in columns from the ridge, and are sequentially mounted in rows after column splicing is completed. According to the construction method of the power generation building material shed, the shed not only has basic use functions, but also can be used as a carrier for providing energy, and the construction method of the power generation building material shed fundamentally eliminates the hidden danger of water leakage at the top of the shed.
