According to one embodiment, the invention comprises a device (114) for lifting a reinforcement web (202) comprising a mesh piece consisting of parallel bars in a first direction (200) and parallel bars in a second direction (201) placed and permanently fixed on the parallel bars in the first direction, each parallel bar being arranged according to a predetermined mesh width (204, 205); the device (114) comprises a hoist frame adapted to be fixed to a hoist; the lifting frame comprises support elements (110-113) on opposite sides, the support elements being positioned such that each support element (110-113) is located in a respective mesh opening (203) when the lifting frame rests on an uppermost reinforcement mesh (202) of the stack of reinforcement meshes (401); and wherein the support elements (110-113) are further configured to slide (602) in the first direction (200) such that the support elements (110-113) each support only the rods of the uppermost reinforcement mesh (202) in the second direction (201) with respective support surfaces (702) during lifting, and wherein the support elements (110-113) on opposite sides slide away (602) in opposite directions to each other.
