The present invention provides a technique that, in a protective body fixed to the ground, is superior in safety compared to conventional protective bodies, and is capable of suppressing a decrease in protective performance over a long period of time. This shield is fixed to the ground and divides a space into a region to be protected and a region not to be protected. The shield is provided with: a gas generator; an airbag body which, when the gas generator is operating, expands due to the gas supplied from the gas generator, and thereby deploys to a region to be protected; and a housing part which accommodates the gas generator and the airbag body.
