The invention provides a bridge side span closure construction method, which comprises the following steps of: movably positioning an outer mold longitudinal beam, movably positioning an outer mold, movably positioning a bottom platform, mounting an inner mold, and carrying out pouring closure, in the construction process, firstly moving the outer mold longitudinal beam of the outer mold to a corresponding position and then fixing the outer mold longitudinal beam; and then the outer mold is moved after being supported by the outer mold longitudinal beam, so that the outer mold longitudinal beam supports the outer mold, and the force borne by the chain block is reduced.
