The invention relates to a method for producing a sinterable green body by means of slurry casting, said green body being composed of beta-sodium aluminate particles and/or precursor particles bound by means of a binder, in which a pourable slurry containing the particles, a dispersant and the binder is introduced into a casting mold and is released after curing into the green body.
