The invention relates to the field of sound insulation environment-friendly materials, in particular to a sound insulation environment-friendly material for green buildings and a preparation method thereof.The method comprises the following steps that S1, a silane coupling agent, neodymium oxide powder and perlite powder are mixed to obtain a mixture A; s2, heating silicone rubber, a vulcanizing agent PDM, calcium stearate and diethylbenzene peroxide to a molten state, uniformly mixing, then adding the mixture A, keeping the molten state, and fully mixing to obtain a molten raw material; s3, the molten raw materials are added into a block making device to prepare sound insulation blocks; and S4, the sound insulation cotton is stuffed into an I-shaped cavity formed in the sound insulation block in a penetrating mode, and the sound insulation environment-friendly material is obtained. The sound-insulation environment-friendly material comprises a sound-insulation block, wherein an I-shaped cavity is formed in the middle of the sound-insulation block in a penetrating manner; the I-shaped cavity is filled with sound-insulation cotton; the sound insulation can be effectively realized.
