Method for manufacturing conductive honeycomb structure and method for manufacturing electrically heated carrier
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrically conductive honeycomb structure and a method for manufacturing an electrically heated carrier. The present invention is provided with: a molding step in which a molding raw material containing a conductive ceramic raw material is subjected to extrusion molding to obtain a honeycomb molded body having an outer peripheral wall and partition walls disposed on the inner side of the outer peripheral wall and defining a plurality of cells, the plurality of cells forming flow paths extending from one end surface to the other end surface; a drying step of drying the honeycomb molded body to obtain a honeycomb dried body; and a firing step for firing the dried honeycomb body to obtain a fired honeycomb body, the molding step includes a step for controlling the volume fraction of a portion of the honeycomb molded body that is likely to become pores in a predetermined region of the honeycomb molded body such that the absolute value of the difference between the volume fraction of the portion that is likely to become pores in the predetermined region of the honeycomb molded body and a predetermined porosity in the honeycomb fired body is 0.5% or less. The prescribed porosity is a porosity preset for each prescribed region in a cross section perpendicular to the flow path direction of the cells of the fired honeycomb body.
本发明涉及导电性蜂窝结构体的制造方法及电加热式载体的制造方法。具备:成型工序,将含有导电性的陶瓷原料的成型原料挤出成型得到具有外周壁和配设于外周壁的内侧并区划形成多个隔室的隔壁的蜂窝成型体,多个隔室形成从一个端面延伸至另一个端面的流路;干燥工序,将蜂窝成型体干燥得到蜂窝干燥体;烧成工序,将蜂窝干燥体烧成得到蜂窝烧成体,成型工序包括以蜂窝成型体的规定区域中的可能成为气孔的部分的体积率相对于蜂窝烧成体中的预先设定的规定气孔率的差的绝对值为0.5%以内的方式对蜂窝成型体的可能成为气孔的部分的体积率进行控制的工序,规定气孔率为在蜂窝烧成体的与隔室的流路方向垂直的截面中针对各规定区域预先设定的气孔率。
