The invention discloses a diameter-adjustable connecting structure used for connecting a concrete prefabricated pipe pile top and a bearing platform and a preparation method of the diameter-adjustable connecting structure. The connecting structure comprises a connecting structure body and core filling concrete, and the connecting structure body comprises a diameter-adjustable circular ring steel plate supporting plate, a diameter-fixed circular steel plate supporting plate, longitudinal steel bars, transverse steel bars, nuts and fixed steel bars; the diameter-adjustable circular steel plate supporting plate and the fixed-diameter circular steel plate supporting plate are both located in the top pipe section of the concrete prefabricated pipe pile, the diameter-adjustable circular steel plate supporting plate is supported and buckled on the fixed-diameter circular steel plate supporting plate, and the longitudinal steel bars vertically penetrate through the fixed-diameter circular steel plate supporting plate. The transverse steel bars are bundled and fixed around the longitudinal steel bars to form a steel bar framework, and the fixed steel bars are horizontally erected at an opening in the top end of the concrete prefabricated pipe pile. The connecting structure can simplify the construction process and accelerate the construction progress. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the connection structure.
