A shower assembly includes a shower head; and a manifold configured to removably receive the water filter assembly; wherein the manifold includes an aperture having an outwardly facing open end to receive the water filter assembly, and wherein the manifold is downstream of and in fluid communication with the water source, and upstream of and in fluid communication with the showerhead.
