A two-layer I-shaped steel connecting mechanism of an overhanging scaffold foundation is characterized in that the two-layer I-shaped steel connecting mechanism comprises a pair of clamping pieces, two sets of screws and nuts, each clamping piece comprises a positioning block and two clamping pieces, the vertical face of the side face of each positioning block is provided with two positions abutting against the side edges of the two layers of I-shaped steel which are stacked together, the number of the clamping pieces is two, and the clamping pieces are provided with penetrating holes for the screws to penetrate through. Wherein one clamping piece is connected to the upper edge of the vertical surface of the positioning block, the other clamping piece is connected to the lower edge of the vertical surface of the positioning block, the inner side parts of the clamping pieces are wings, and the through holes in the free end parts of the clamping pieces are overlapped in the projection direction to form an overlapped through hole. Compared with the prior art, the device has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to construct, safe, reliable, free of welding construction, free of damage to components and capable of improving the construction speed.
