The present invention provides a cooking apparatus comprising: a main body in which a cooking chamber is formed and the front surface of which is open; a hinge member disposed on one side of the main body in the lateral direction; a door rotatably coupled to the hinge member on the front surface of the main body, the door rotating about the hinge member to open and close the cooking chamber; a latch mechanism which is provided to the door and which engages with the main body on the other side of the main body in the lateral direction to fix the door to the main body; and a locking mechanism that fixes the door to the main body at a position different from that of the latch mechanism in a state in which the cooking chamber is closed by the door fixed to the main body by the latch mechanism, the lock mechanism provided to the door includes a shaft, the position of which is changed to a fixed position at which the lock mechanism is coupled to the hinge member or a release position at which the lock mechanism is released from the hinge member according to repetition of a pressing operation.
