The greening structure for the municipal road comprises a greening support and an irrigation pipe connected to the greening support, the greening support comprises a middle partition plate and two planting parts located on the two sides of the middle partition plate respectively, each planting part comprises an outer groove, a middle groove and an inner groove, and the inner grooves are attached to the middle partition plate; the inner bottom face of the inner groove is higher than the inner bottom face of the middle groove, the middle groove is attached to the inner groove, the inner bottom face of the middle groove is higher than the inner bottom face of the inner groove, and the outer groove is attached to the middle groove. The irrigation pipe comprises a reservoir located below the inner groove, an irrigation pipe body is arranged in the reservoir, and water outlets facing the outer groove, the middle groove and the inner groove are formed in the top of the irrigation pipe body. According to the construction method, the steps are compact, construction is convenient, the finally constructed greening structure has the good greening effect, lamplight can be purified, and driving safety is guaranteed.
