The invention discloses an anti-chloride-ion magnesium oxide-based cementing material and a preparation method thereof, magnesium hydroxide, ferrous chloride and ferric chloride are stirred in water to enable the components to contain nano magnetic ferroferric oxide, and then the anti-chloride-ion magnesium oxide-based cementing material is obtained through calcination in a protective atmosphere. A compact hydrate is formed during hydration, and the magnetic nano ferroferric oxide is gathered on the surface of steel to form a protective film, so that a steel part in the concrete is prevented from being corroded by chloride ions.
