The invention discloses a long-distance detection method for tiny deformation of an expressway pavement. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, installing an identification device on an inspection vehicle, wherein the identification device comprises a camera and a line laser light source; the line laser light source irradiates the road surface and forms bright latticed lines through diffuse reflection, and the bright latticed lines are completely and clearly shot and captured by the camera; step 2, measuring the straightness of each transverse and longitudinal grid line in the grid lines in the step 1; 3, judging whether the transverse and longitudinal grid lines obtained in the step 2 have distortion or not; 4, if the distortion exists, recording the distorted grid lines, and positioning the distortion position; and 5, calculating the position where the pavement deformation occurs, and carrying out real-time early warning on passing vehicles and a pavement maintenance department. The long-distance detection method for the tiny deformation of the highway pavement provided by the invention is simple in detection principle, low in cost and relatively high in recognition capability, and can recognize the tiny deformation of the pavement at a relatively long distance.
