The invention discloses a reinforced concrete combination column restrained in a steel pipe and a construction method, and belongs to the field of building structures. And on the other hand, the steel pipe is adopted to restrain the ultra-high performance concrete, the steel pipe wall plays an annular restraining role on the concrete, the bearing capacity of the combination column is remarkably improved, and the section area of the column is reduced. The defects of integral buckling and insufficient bearing capacity of steel bars in a common reinforced concrete column are overcome, the bearing capacity and ductility of components are remarkably improved, and under the condition of the same steel content, higher bearing capacity and smaller sectional area can be achieved, and larger building use space can be created.
