Showerhead retraction assembly
The invention relates to a faucet mounting assembly for a faucet. The faucet mounting assembly comprises a conical nut and a receiving clamp. A conical nut is coupled to the nozzle. A receiving clip is coupled to an inner surface of the faucet and is configured to receive the conical nut therein. The receiving clip includes a generally annular base, one or more tabs, and a slot. The one or more tabs include a fixed end secured to the generally annular base and a free end opposite the fixed end and defined by a slot. The one or more tabs are configured to flex radially between an unflexed position and a flexed position. The one or more tabs flex into a flexed position when the conical nut is repositioned into and out of engagement with the receiving clamp and return to an unflexed position when the conical nut is disposed within the receiving clamp.
