The invention provides a cement-based material self-repairing microsphere, a preparation method of the cement-based material self-repairing microsphere and application of the microsphere to a self-repairing cement-based material. The cement-based material self-repairing microsphere provided by the invention is of a core-shell structure, the core of the microsphere is the high-strength water-absorbent resin particles, the shell of the microsphere is the acrylate polymer, and the microspheroidization of the high-strength water-absorbent resin particles can prevent the high-strength water-absorbent resin particles from being in contact with cement paste, so that the cement does not absorb water in the hydration process, the performance of the cement is not influenced, and the service life of the cement is prolonged. Meanwhile, the compatibility of the water-absorbent resin particles and the cement-based material is improved; when the cement-based material has cracks or defects, the shell of the microsphere is also damaged under the action of external force, the water-absorbent resin expands when encountering water, and the inorganic salt generates crystals when encountering water to block pores, so that the impermeability of the cement is improved, and the self-repairing effect of the cement when encountering water is realized.
