The invention provides an engineering vehicle for pavement disease detection. The engineering vehicle comprises a walking mechanism, an in-position mechanism installed on the walking mechanism, an operation mechanism fixed to the in-position mechanism and a control system connected with the in-position mechanism and the operation mechanism. The in-place mechanism comprises a first arm frame assembly, a second arm frame assembly, a third arm frame assembly, a first rotary speed reducer, a second rotary speed reducer and a third rotary speed reducer, the operation mechanism is installed at the second end of the third arm frame assembly, and the first arm frame assembly can be driven by the first rotary speed reducer to rotate; the second arm frame assembly can be driven by the second rotary speed reducer to rotate, and the third arm frame assembly can be driven by the third rotary speed reducer to rotate. According to the engineering vehicle provided by the invention, the cameras fixedly mounted at the arm ends are driven to scan the road surface by orderly rotating all the arm frames of the parallel rotating shafts, and wide-area scanning coverage of a specific road surface area is realized in a local shooting manner.
