The invention discloses a cylindrical assembly type pier anti-collision damping protection structure which comprises a front-end sensing early warning platform used for sensing and early warning coming and going vehicles and ships and a rear-end hollow anti-collision barrel used for damping and protecting a pier, and the front-end sensing early warning platform is arranged on the rear-end hollow anti-collision barrel; the rear-end hollow anti-collision barrel is arranged outside the bridge pier body in a sleeving mode and comprises a cylindrical outer hollow anti-collision barrel and a plurality of sets of buffering devices, and the two ends of each buffering device are connected with the bridge pier body and the outer hollow anti-collision barrel; and a plurality of buffer devices with different inherent frequencies are arranged in the external hollow anti-collision barrel in multiple directions and latitudes. During installation, the device is installed on the bridge pier part which is most likely to be collided by vehicles and ships, the whole bridge pier does not need to be installed, and therefore the bridge manufacturing cost and the construction difficulty are reduced.
