The invention discloses a coast protection slope for developing ocean energy and a using method thereof, the protection slope comprises: a floating seat, the bottom of which is provided with a floating member and the top of which is provided with a vertical channel; the manger board is arranged in the vertical channel at the top of the floating seat in a sliding manner; the transmission mechanism is arranged on the side face of the floating seat and used for converting up-down movement of the manger board into axial rotation movement in the transmission mechanism, the braking mechanism is used for fixing the floating seat when sea waves beat, and the manger board moves up and down relative to the floating seat; a generator; through the arrangement, the height of the manger board can be adjusted along with lifting of the sea level, the manger board can adapt to the height of the sea level, it is guaranteed that the manger board can continuously receive beating of sea waves and move up and down relative to the base, and the up-down movement is converted into axial movement of the flywheel for power generation.
