The invention discloses a building construction safety protection device which comprises a plurality of supporting plates, a plurality of supporting plates and a plurality of supporting plates, and limiting notches are formed in the four corners of each supporting plate; any two adjacent supporting plates are connected through the connecting assemblies; the top intercepting mechanism comprises energy dissipation grooves, a top plate and an energy dissipation part, the energy dissipation grooves are fixedly connected to the top ends of the multiple supporting plates, the energy dissipation part is fixedly connected into the energy dissipation grooves, and the top plate is fixedly connected to the top end of the energy dissipation part; the support mechanism comprises a vertical buffering part and a horizontal buffering part, the vertical buffering part is fixedly connected to the bottom end of the connecting assembly, and the horizontal buffering part is fixedly connected to the bottom end of the vertical buffering part; and the supporting legs are detachably connected to the bottom ends of the horizontal buffering parts. The protection device can be built according to the actually needed protection area, the problem that the protection area of an existing protection device is fixed and cannot be adjusted is solved, and meanwhile when a certain supporting plate or support assembly with the top intercepting mechanism is damaged, overall replacement is not needed.
