The invention discloses a heat-resistant steel anti-oxidation protective coating material and a preparation method thereof, the coating material is composed of a powder material and a liquid material in a ratio of 1: (1-2.5), the powder material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.5 to 5 parts of kaolin, 3 to 10 parts of cement, 5 to 15 parts of calcium carbonate, 30 to 55 parts of silicon dioxide, 10 to 20 parts of aluminum oxide, 3 to 10 parts of silicon carbide, 5 to 15 parts of magnesium oxide, 3 to 10 parts of zirconium dioxide, 3 to 10 parts of titanium oxide, 2 to 6 parts of glass powder, 2 to 6 parts of boric oxide, 0.2 to 1 part of sodium chloride and 5 to 15 parts of carbon powder; the liquid material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100-150 parts of sodium water glass with the baume degree of 21.9-41.2, 5-10 parts of a polyvinyl alcohol solution with the concentration of 10%-30% and 10-20 parts of an aluminum dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution with the concentration of 50%-70%. The preparation method comprises the step of uniformly mixing the liquid material and the powder material according to the proportion to obtain the target coating material. The cement and the glass powder are introduced into the raw materials of the coating material, so that the cost is reduced, the high temperature resistance of a coating and the oxidation resistance of a steel substrate are greatly improved, and a very good protection effect can be achieved without needing to be too thick during spraying.
