The invention discloses a rainwater and sewage diversion device of a roof rainwater vertical pipe. The device comprises a reducer pipe used for communicating a lower vertical pipe and an upper vertical pipe; the water collecting box is used for containing the communicating position of the lower vertical pipe and the reducer pipe, and the communicating position is configured in the mode that the lower end of the reducer pipe is arranged on the outer surface of the lower vertical pipe in a clearance sleeving mode, and the lower end face does not make contact with the bottom wall of the water collecting box; and the communicating part of the sewage outflow pipe and the water collecting box is higher than the lower end face of the reducer pipe and lower than the upper end face of the lower vertical pipe. According to the technical scheme, the characteristic that water flow adheres to the inner wall of the pipe to do spiral motion when the drainage flow of the rainwater vertical pipe is small is utilized, sewage mixed into the rainwater vertical pipe, initial rainwater runoff of a roof and rainwater with the small pollution degree in the middle and later periods are divided, and the influence of the sewage on the water environment is reduced; along with the increase of rainfall intensity, the overflowing capacity of the original rainwater vertical pipe is not influenced, so that the rainwater is finally discharged into a rainwater pipe network; in a drought day, harmful gas of a sewage pipe network is prevented from flowing back into a room along a pipeline by utilizing a water seal structure of the water collecting box.
