The invention discloses a preparation method of a high-density carbon-graphite composite material, which comprises the following steps: S1, preparing raw materials for pretreatment: thermally mixing the raw materials petroleum coke, pitch coke, microcrystalline graphite and crystalline flake graphite at 130-150 DEG C for 1-2 hours to obtain mixed powder; s2, after modified coal pitch is added into the mixed powder obtained in the step S1, mixing and kneading are conducted; s3, after mixing and kneading in the step S2 for 0.5 h, adding sulfur, and continuously mixing and kneading at the temperature of 160-200 DEG C for 1-2 h; s4, after mixing and kneading are completed, flaking is conducted 2-3 times, the thickness of flakes is smaller than or equal to 3.0 mm, and crushing and grinding are conducted after cooling; s5, the powder obtained in the step S4 is sieved, and then isostatic pressing one-time forming is carried out; and S6, roasting the material formed in the step S5 at a time. The prepared carbon-graphite composite material has the advantages of high density, high strength, low resistivity, good stability and the like.
