A solar highway system for shunting passenger transport and freight transport comprises a solar highway subsystem for shunting passenger transport and freight transport, a solar common highway subsystem for shunting passenger transport and freight transport, and a solar urban highway subsystem for shunting passenger transport and freight transport. A striking driving guide line is arranged on the road surface and at the driving position of automobile wheels, the width of the driving guide line is slightly larger than that of the automobile wheels, and except for the driving guide line, the whole road surface is paved with solar cell panels capable of photovoltaic power generation. The wheels of the automobile are driven along the driving guide line through a driver driving technology or an unmanned driving technology. And an asphalt pavement is arranged below the driving guide line or an electromagnetic induction transmitting coil is embedded below the driving guide line. The solar highway subsystem for shunting passenger transport and freight transport is provided with a passenger transport solar highway special line, a freight transport solar highway special line, a passenger transport solar highway special road and a freight transport solar highway special road respectively.
