The invention discloses an efficient preparation method of a neutral durable carbonized steel slag artificial fish reef. The method comprises the following steps: by taking iron-removed secondary slag of steel slag as a raw material, carrying out compression molding, carbonization curing and water curing to a specified age to ensure safety, and then putting into water for use. The compressive strength meeting the application standard of the artificial fish reef can be achieved within one day after the steel slag is carbonized and cured, and the preparation efficiency of the artificial fish reef is high. Before the artificial fish reef is put into use, the artificial fish reef is maintained in water, the risk that the artificial fish reef is damaged by wind wave scouring and the like when the mechanical property is reduced to the lowest point due to microstructure changes such as mineral phase change and lattice recombination in the initial stage of water putting and use of the artificial fish reef is reduced, the stability of the mechanical property of the reef body is ensured, and the durability is better. The prepared artificial fish reef takes calcium carbonate as a main binding phase, is neutral in pH, is beneficial to attachment of organisms in water such as ocean and ponds, and is wide in application range.
