The invention belongs to the field of garages, and particularly relates to a vehicle carrying plate storing and taking device which comprises a storing and taking frame. The supporting plate seat is arranged on one side of the storing and taking frame; the lifting device is arranged at the bottom of the storing and taking frame; the first transverse moving mechanism is arranged at the lifting movable end of the lifting device; and the second transverse moving mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the storing and taking frame and can transversely move to the supporting plate base from the storing and taking frame. When the vehicle carrying plate needs to be taken and used, the lifting device ascends to enable the first transverse moving mechanism to make contact with the lower side of the vehicle carrying plate, then the first transverse moving mechanism horizontally moves to enable the vehicle carrying plate to transversely move to be staggered from the storing and taking frame, then the lifting device descends to drive the vehicle carrying plate down, and the vehicle carrying plate is placed on the second transverse moving mechanism; and then the vehicle carrying plates are transversely moved out from the lower portion of the storing and taking frame through the second transverse moving mechanism to be placed on the plate supporting seats, in this way, an AGV does not need to be used for transporting vehicles and supplementing/taking the vehicle carrying plates in a connection area, the vehicle parking and taking time is effectively shortened, and the parking and taking experience is better.
